(Columbia, SC) - Today, Southwest Airlines announced its decision to expand new operations into South Carolina. The airline unveiled its plan to locate these new services at both Greenville-Spartanburg and Charleston Airports within the next year. Southwest’s expansion will offer an additional 500,000 seats annually to people traveling to-and-from South Carolina with annual savings on air fares exceeding $100 million.
